ABOUT ME
I am a qualified nurse since 2001 and qualified midwife since 2004. Until 2016 I was employed in various clinical obstetric settings in Freiburg im Breisgau/Germany, Dublin/Ireland and at the University Hospital Basel/Switzerland. Since October 2016 I have been working as a self-independant midwife in postpartum care and also offer various courses in English and German as a certified Polestar Pilates instructor (2017) and certified pelvic floor instructor (2018) in the city centre of Basel and in Arlesheim.
Continuous further education in pre/postnatal care, women’s health and family care substantiate my scientific-evidence-based way of working and help me to develop methodically and didactically. Within the framework of my additional activity in the education commission for the Midwives Association Beide Basel, I continue to be committed to the transfer of knowledge and the qualitative further development in the midwifery profession.
I am a mother of 2 children (14 and 11 years old) and I´m living with my family in Arlesheim.
